Group Coaching

Group Coaching allows the individual and coach to expand the process vital for learning and growth. Group Coaching allows you to connect with other individuals to share experiences and challenges openly. Group coaching is described as a small number of individuals, usually 6-10, meeting in active participation on several occasions for a purpose. Overall group coaching provides a venue for the purpose of learning awareness and the development of new skills.

Group – small setting on site or via webinar and video technology

When I am working in a group setting, although it’s not singular in nature, having the entire group’s input in thinking magnifies the richness of the discussions and results in developing solutions that are above and beyond what any individual can create.

The cohesive bond that is formed empowers each person to develop the leader within and shine in a safe environment that nurtures the group as a whole. It is an experience unlike any other and follows the same premise as an academic think tank.

The goal of coaching is the goal of good management – to make the most of an organizations’ valuable resources.” Harvard Business Review

Between 25% to 40% of Fortune 500 companies use executive coaches.” The HayGroup (USA) 1999

Leaders are more powerful role models when they learn than when they teach.” Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Harvard Business School

How does it work?

Group sessions include a maximum of 6 participants (minimum of 4) and meets weekly over the phone for at least 4 sessions.  The topics addressed, as well as the time and the dates for each session are predetermined.  The groups are filled based on the first 6 to register.  Each phone call is one hour (your phone carrier’s charges apply).  If you skip a week you can listen to the recorded group coaching call.  Please note, there is no credit or make-up given for missed sessions.

For each session you will be given the telephone number to call.  It is not necessary to have a phone service that handles conference calls.  Prior to the first session you will be asked to submit a brief introduction about yourself which I will email to the group.  This will help us to get to know one another before starting the sessions.  After each session you will receive homework to help you apply the principles discussed and get the greatest benefit from your next scheduled group session.
