5 Reasons to Invest in Vision Coaching

If you are like me you started this year with grandiose plans. As you near the beginning of 2013 how well did you do? Are you closer to living out your vision with passion? I want to share 5 reasons to invest in vision coaching I have learned. For years I spent my days without a specific vision. I thought setting a few goals at the beginning of the year would help me maintain focus. It did not!

New Years Resolution

One of the most popular activities around the New Year is setting what we call “New Year’s Resolutions”. Most of us make them. Usually these “resolutions” are discarded or forgotten in less than 30 days. According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, a New Year’s resolution is a commitment that a person makes to one or more personal goals, projects, or the reforming of a habit.

My first experience with investing in creating a personal vision was about 15 years ago. I completed a home-based study course on life planning. During that time I started a vision notebook. As a result of working on my vision I created a map. It took time however I continue to follow the map. Among the goals I set were: a ministry of prayer at my church, a year-long mentoring program for women and writing my first book. These goals have been met.

Vision Coaching

Vision coaching provides a solid foundation for you to achieve the commitments you make to personal goals, projects, or reforming habits. The major components of vision coaching involve taking a systematic approach to creating your specific action plan. You will move from just making the commitment to creating an action plan, working with a coach to help you stay accountable, and discover how to integrate your personal and professional goals for balance in your life.

Every person should invest in vision coaching to insure your plans are specific and help you develop a stronger commitment to accomplishing your goals.

What are the 5 reason you should invest in Vision Coaching?

  • 1. To clearly identify what you want to achieve in your personal and professional life.
  • 2. To create a specific action plan to carry out your goals with accountability.

  • 3. To move forward with your vision into a meaningful future.
  • 4. To rediscover and ignite your passion.
  • 5. To integrate personal and professional goals to establish balance and symmetry in your life.
  • All successful people men and women are big dreamers. They imagine what their future could be, ideal in every respect, and then they work toward their distant vision, that goal, or purpose.– Brian Tracy

In order to accomplish this you will need accountability and commitment. It will require your ability to tap into your thinking patterns to shatter limiting beliefs preventing your growth.

If you are ready to start 2013 off with purpose, want to construct a basic business plan, develop a marketing strategy or identify your niche, vision coaching will help you. Click here to get started.
